1. What is the duration of the cash less secured plan?
This plan gets activated as per the details given in the front and lasts for 12 months from the plan purchase date.
2. What is covered in the cash less secured plan?
This plan covers handsets in the event of Accidental damage (both physically and water damage).
3. What is not covered in the cash less secured plan?
Damage to battery, charger, hands-free, mounting kits, external aerials(accessories) and other specific exclusions can be found in the plan T & C’s.
4. How to get compensation for accidental damage to mobile phone?
a. In the event of claiming cashless claim, the damaged mobile phone with fulfilling all formalities as desired, must be handed over to the nearby dealer/distributor along with following documents
- Cash less secured plan slip
- Original purchase bill
b. Customers of Iphone/Other premium handsets where company swaps/provides new handset instead of repair for old handset, please read T & C below.
5. Can I cancel my insurance plan anytime after purchase and get a refund of policy amount?
No, there is no facility of cancelling the plan anytime after purchase and there shall be no refund of policy amount. However, services can be availed as per the policy plan till the last date of policy.
6. What depreciation amount does customer have to pay in the case of cash less repair?

Covered person/owner : The person named in the purchase invoice
Teritorial limit : India
Cover : The Cover person is indemnified as per Table A/B for damage of its handset
General conditions applying to all sections
1. Reasponsibilities : G-Tech (Rejection/payment of claims & administration services, no liability with distributor or retailer in setting the cash less secured plan)
2. The Owner Shall : a. Take all reasonable steps to not damage the handset and shall
- Keep the equipment in a proper state of maintenance and repair.
- Use the handset in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and maintenance recommendations.
b. Notify administrator as soon as possible about any damage to the covered equipment
c. Provide at the owner’s expense all the details that the G-Tech may require concerning the cause of the damage.
3. Any dispute regarding interpretation of the terms, conditions and exceptions of the Cash less secured plan shall be determined in accordance with the law and practice of account of competent jurisdiction within Pathankot (Punjab)
4. The coverage is personal by the owner and is not assignable.
5. The days elapsed (in terms of depreciation amount) will be considered from the date of receipt of the damaged mobile phone by any sale point/authorized care centre of G-Tech mobile services
G-Tech ceases its responsibility in case
1. Damage assigning outside India.
2. Repairs and maintenance carried out by anyone other than a repair dominated by the G-Tech mobile services.
3. The cost of remedying or making good solely due to:
a. Wear and tear, Gradual deterioration or rust
b. Gradually developing defects, cracks, flaws or fractures
c. Software problem
4. If any claim made under the plan be fraudulent in any respect, all benefits under the plan shall be forfeited.
5. Accidental damage to the equipment whilst on loan/use to any 3rd party, friends, relatives, employees, etc.
6. Any damage to the handset due to electric surge, voltage fluctuation, short circuit or explosions of battery
7. Any consequential loss (business / date / profits / programs / revenue / contacts) due to damage / misplace / repairing of handset.
